Peony (Scientific name: Paeonia suffruticosa Andr) is a plant of the Ranunculaceae and Paeonia species, which is a perennial deciduous shrub. The stem is up to 2 meters long and the branches are short and thick. The leaves are usually two-times-three-times compound leaves, green on the surface, glabrous, light green on the back, sometimes with white powder, petiole 5-11 cm long, and the rachis glabrous. The flowers are fragrant, magnificent and gorgeous in color. They are known as the "king of flowers". Among the cultivation types, it can be divided into hundreds of varieties mainly according to the color of the flowers. "There are many varieties of peonies with many colors. Yellow, green, flesh red, deep red and silver red are the top grades, especially yellow and green. The peonies are large and fragrant, so they are also called" national fragrance "

Industrial Base

Currently，Herbasea cooperates with famous corporation in China, based on 21760 mu plant base of peony and 68 mu in-depth processing base, to cultivate and improve the outstanding peony species, its EU standard and national standard are now under transaction.

By the end of 2018, our corporation has successfully developed a series of peony products, which made us a leading company in this trade with leading plant scale, powerful R&D ability and unparallel technical standard. The launch of ten thousand Mu Peony Garden in Heyang and Pucheng has boosted the restructuring of regional economy development and increased the income of famers. Four years since then, the number of hired workers is more than 80 thousand, the farmers’ income has been raised to over 9 million. Among which, over 600 workers from poor families have been employed, the annual income of each of them is over 10 thousand, which has contributed significantly to the targeted poverty-reduction campaign in China.

Factory

The in-depth processing park of our company covers an area of 68 mu, it is equipped with advanced subcritical extraction, low temperature cold pressing, physical refining production lines, as well as 100,000 level GMP requirements of the clean workshop to supply peony seed oil and peony hydrosol to the global,Meanwhile, the factory has opened a complete production chain, which includes:

1. The processing of peony seed oil: we have national-leading production line with the function of subcritical extraction, the daily processing volume can reach 20 tons;

2. The process of peony hydrosol: equipment of food degree, Steam distillation, totally away from harmful solvents;

3. User-experience Zone: the users could try the product and do DIY activities;

4. Industry tourism project: transparent tourists pass-way,

5. Peony industry chain research center: co-founded by various prestigious universities and is equipped with professional labs. 

Our company adheres to the science-innovation strategy, and vigorously starts the Industry-university-research collaboration, we have established long-term and stable cooperative relation with many institutions including Northwest A&F University, Beijing Forestry University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and built a joint R & D Center with Kangnam University and Cosmetic College, and set up a joint laboratory with wellcome (Beijing) for in-depth Research and development of peony products. Currently, there are 3 professors, 5 PHDs, and 28 graduate students as the company's product development technology leaders.
